Raising the quota bar
Starting July 1, the new membership quota will be based on the 7 percent net of your council’s membership (with a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 35 members). This quota, up 2 percent from the previous year, affects qualifying for the Father McGivney and Star Council awards.

1. Did you know.... that the International Organization of the Knight of Columbus was established by the Venerabel Fr. Michael J. McGivney in the basement of St. Marys Church not far from here in New Haven Ct. They have grown to over 1.7 million members world wide.
2. Did you know..... that in Connecticut our 25,000 Knights continue the leagacy of their founder by donating nearly $ amount to chairitable causes in 2008, as well as volunteering over (hours) to our Chrurches, communities and youth activities.
3. Did you know... that here at (Parish name) members of the Knights of Columbus (insert activities) this can be changed to say that Father wishes to have a new Knights of Columbus Council here at Parish name, and list some programs he is interested of seeing.
4. Did you know.... that membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to all Catholic men of this parish, age 18 and older. members are here todya, to invite fellow parishioners to join their ranks. All men are encouraged to stop after Mass, and consider joining this group of men.
